Kevan Hopson has practiced as a professional Artist since his move to mid-Wales in 1985. His paintings and sculpture have been exhibited consistently and extensively throughout the United Kingdom.
He was among those chosen to represent Wales at the Welsh Festival in Brussels during the late 90s.
His love of the Welsh landscape can clearly be seen in his paintings and his concerns for the environment
are reflected in his choice of found materials as the starting point for his sculpture.
Kevan Hopson has, 'sold out' at the South Bank Craft Centre, on occasion sold nothing at all, appeared on TV several times, in magazine articles, had  the occasional book entry and taught no end of adults and school pupils in workshops across the UK
