Robert Hurdle studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts under William Coldstream.
He taught at Bristol Polytechnic and Bristol University.
Robert Hurdle began exhibiting in 1949, including many years at the Royal Watercolour Society.
His work is held by Bristol and Bath Universities and at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
