
Julian Trevelyan (1910-1988)
Julian Trevelyan was a painter, printmaker, writer
and teacher.
He studied in Paris and saw service as a camouflage officer in the
Second World War.
Julian Trevelyan taught at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College
of Art.
He married the artist Mary Fedden in 1951 and published his
autobiography ‘ Indigo Days’ in 1957.
